The Orange County Partnership announced today that the Frassetto Companies is constructing a fifty-four thousand square foot flex/industrial building at 54 Turner Drive in the Town of Wallkill. As constructed, with twenty-eight foot ceilings and eight loading docks, the building will accommodate a variety of uses from distribution to manufacturing. The delivery date is the fourth quarter of 2017.
The Frassetto Companies is one the largest privately owned real estate developers of high-tech office and industrial space. Family-owned and operated for over 60 years, The Frassetto Companies have built and managed more than five million square feet of space throughout New York and New Jersey. Over 650,000 square feet have been developed in Orange County.
Chris Frassetto, a partner in the company, stated, “Constructing a speculative building has its inherent risks. However, Orange County’s vacancy rate for prime industrial space is at an all-time low at 6.50% while business confidence and growth are at an all-time high. One of the county’s main strengths are its infrastructure and proximity to NYC. The County has experienced positive absorption since 2008 and we are confident an end user will be in place when construction is complete.”
Maureen Halahan, President & CEO of the Orange County Partnership added, “The Frassetto Companies have been active in our county since 1989. The quality of their work has transformed Turner Drive into a high-tech manufacturing campus that includes Advanced Coating Technologies and Pratt & Whitney. We welcome this new addition.”
